Tips: How to become strong mentally

April 22, 2020 3
Tips: How to become strong mentally

Before starting the topic "How to become strong mentally" , You should know following things..

Firstly, "What does it mean to be mentally strong?"

To be mentally strong means overcome hard situations that you may phase in your life with your confidence, calm and ease.
Mentally strong people balance there emotions. They understand each and every struggle and made a plan for solve the struggle. Mentally strong people feel fear but do not let it stop them from moving forward. Moving forward can be scary and uncomfortable but they are won't laid back. Staying fearful doesn't help you to conquer limiting beliefs about the world. It keeps them real and powerful.

Secondly, "Why is being mentally strong important?"

Life is a journey, There is always up's and down's. Some times you may stuck at your hard time. It will kill you from inside if you don't know how to overcome it yourself then you become a mentally ill person. So, It is always important to be strong mentally.
It helps you to manage your Thoughts, Regulate your emotions and Behave productively.

Up to now, You understand what is mentally strong and why it is important.......

Now, will see Three kind of destructive beliefs that make us less effective and rob us of our mental strength.

The FIRST ONE is Unhealthy beliefs about ourselves

We tend to feel sorry for ourselves and while it's OK to be sad when something bad happens, Self-pity goes beyond that. It's when you start to magnify  your misfortune.

When you think things like, "Why do these things always have to happen to me? ", "I shouldn't have to deal with it."  That way of thinking keeps you stuck.
For keeps you focused on the problem, Keeps you from finding a solution and even when you can't create a solution, You can always take steps to make your life or somebody else's life better but you can't do that when you are hosting your own pity party.

The SECOND type of destructive belief that hold us back is Unhealthy beliefs about others.

We think that other people can control us and We give away our power but as adults who live in a free country, There's very few things in life that yo u have to do. so when yo u say, "I have to work late." you give away your power. Yeah, may be there will be consequences if you don't work late but it's still a choice or when you say, "my mother-in-law drives me crazy." You give away your power may be she's not the nicest person on earth but it's up to you respond to her, because you're in control.

The THIRD type of destructive belief that hold us back is Unhealthy beliefs about the world.

We tend to think that the world owes us something. We think, "If I put in enough hard work, then i deserve success." but expecting success to fall into your Lap like some sort of cosmic reward, will only lead to disappointment but I know it's hard to give up our bad habits . It's hard to get rid of those unhealthy beliefs that we've carried around with us for so long but you can't afford not to give them up.

Up to know, You understand kind of beliefs that we have exactly.....

Now, It's time to discuss about habit's of mentally strong people or How they rebuilt there self?

1. Mentally strong people are relentlessly positive.
2. They are emotionally Intelligent and Confident.
3. They embrace Failure.
4. They embrace Change.
5. They don't compare themselves to others.
6. Yet, they don't dwell on mistakes.
7. They neutralize difficult people.
8. They get enough sleep.

Now, It's time to know the tips that I have to become strong mentally in to your daily routine.........

1. Accept your Responsibilities.

We usually scared about the responsibilities that we have if this is the case then we can't move forward it leads to us become lazy. Always show ease to accept your responsibilities it will help you gain more experiences in life.

2. Don't expect immediate results.

Some people expect more after there immediate work but some time's you can't reach your expectation even though you performed well. If you think "Every failure is a step to success." this type of positiveness helps you to do more for next time but expecting immediate results is some what harm to you.

3. Don't give up after your first failure.

If we really think about success then failure doesn't matter for us. so, don't quit from your work and ideas. Embrace your failure and don't dwell on mistakes. Move forward with new tricks and knowledge.

4. Don't be frightened of taking calculated risks.

If chance of failure is higher than chance of success then we frightened of taking risk.
If this is the case you will stuck at that point only.

5. Don't waste energy on things beyond your control.

Focusing on things beyond your control is time waste process and there is no use of it. Rather you focus on useful things helps you to get amazing result's

6. Visualize "what you want in life" for 5 minutes daily.
Take the time to visualize the end result of your goals and also the challenges you'll overcome in between. Practice visualizing how you're going to solve potential problems. See your self where you want to be.

7. Always tell yourself to good things.

Pump up the nice things you say to yourself. You may feel ridiculous at first as you become your own cheerleader in your head, but think about how great you'll feel as you make stronger and strong decision about your life.

8. Practice to be happy.

To get comfortable with being happy, practicing being mindfully happy. Spend some time with your happy mood. At the end of it, notice the feeling of happiness and joy, it comes from you.

9. Eat healthy.
There is always link between food and mood. A healthier digestive system means less sick days, more energy, and can also improve symptoms of depression and anxiety.

10. Have a good sleep.

When you're too tired, you make poor decisions, your mental strength goes down. Make sleep a priority in your daily routine to help you stay mentally strong. A minimum of 8 hours is essential.

I hope this article will help you to move forward in hard time's.

Take out photo album of your's or your parent's wedding album and start seeing each photo with your family members. Share your feelings what happened when you posing to that photo and remember the things. If it's your parents album ask them in a funny way to know the memories because there is always something more that you don't know.

Do Same with function videos and scrapbook. collect the memories that you still don't know!

If you're interested in crafts, Then make your own Scrapbook and store your family memories on it.

Make a photo album of a recent holiday you took. Don’t let your memories get lost on your computer hard drive; make a special keepsake album of your trip.

2. Take Up Your Children’s Hobbies

Whether they play video games or read book series you would normally avoid at all costs, being aware of your children’s hobbies can have many benefits.

From conversation points to understanding what sort of culture your child likes, you can then direct them to other things.

Plus, it makes buying them birthday and Christmas presents a touch easier if you know their hobbies.

3. Read Together
Reading is essential for personal development. It provides mental stimulation, stress relief, memory improvement, and vocabulary improvement.

It’s also fantastic for bonding – reading a story to your kids each evening is a popular family pastime that can create many positive memories.

Here’re 30 unforgettable kids books you can consider.

Re-read an old favorite book. Don’t leave it gathering dust on your book shelf; get it out and read it all over again.

4. Sewing
Sewing your own clothes, tailoring your existing clothes. A sewing machine is to make it easier for people to make their own products from cloth. Things like clothing, home decor items such as curtains, furniture covers, decorative pillows, table cloths and napkins, bedding items like quilts, dust ruffles, pillow shams, etc. And for use in craft products like doll clothing, wall hangings, stuffed toys, and a huge variety of other things requiring stitched seams.                       Having a shared passion is a great way to spend some fun, quality, productive time together. What are you good at? then share your skills to your family Well, there’s nothing stopping you from (at least trying) to get your family interested.               Of course, you can also learn a new skill entirely. Thinking of the future, you may want to learn the basics of web coding. Or you could start blogging on a platform like WordPress, take up photography, or learn a new sport together.

There are also sites like Udemy where you can learn a huge variety of topics at your own pace. Whilst great for family bonding, it can also set your kids up with some essential new skills.

Missing the gym? There are plenty of fitness challenges you can try out from home, so you can emerge from lockdown fitter, leaner, or stronger.

Several reputed universities are offering free online courses. They range from public speaking to blockchain technology and almost everything in between. Standford University’s online.stanford.edu and MIT’s openlearning.mit.edu are among the most popular.
TED-Ed (ed.ted.com) is another platform that has high-quality videos on various topics. There are many other online learning websites that charge you for the courses, but it may be worth the time and money. Check out sites like Udemy, Skillshare, Coursera, and others. Some human resource departments of companies are asking their employees to skill-up during the lockdown. Try to go back to your office with skill-sets that may serve you in the future.
11. Help fight corona virus
Even if you're self-isolating, you can help fight against coronavirus by self-reporting your symptoms each day.

King's College London is asking people to check in daily on this app - even if they're feeling well.
This will allow scientists to better track the spread of the disease, and identify vulnerable communities.
12. Learn a language
There are plenty of apps that help you learn a language for free.
Download one, and spend 30 minutes a day teaching yourself how to speak French, German, Japanese - or whatever language takes your fancy.

13. Watch your diet
Watch your diet. For many people, boredom = eating, dislocation = eating, loneliness = eating. It is important to be aware of it. Try to eat healthily.

14. Sleep

Cut down on social media. Endlessly scrolling through Twitter and Instagram is not healthy. I have been struggling with this one. But an early night is a good night.

15. Write Diary

Writing a diary is a very good way to vent your emotions. ... Writing down how you felt on a certain day helps you come to terms with your feelings. Writing a diary also helps your mind stay organised. When you write about the events you experienced that day, you are subconsciously cementing them in your memory.

Write down your thoughts. Keep a diary. Make lists.

16. Contact

Because of this lockdown our routine life suddenly changed. Ofcourse, after lockdown we are again into our duties. So, keep in touch with the people you would normally be in contact with.

Call a friend you haven’t spoken to recently and have a good long chat.

17. Try new things

Trying new things just means you need to experience something different. For example… try tea instead of coffee. When you try new things, you'll realize that new experiences are life changing.
There are numerous reasons to try something new, so what’s holding you back? Don’t be afraid of new experiences. Since you only live once, don’t live your life with regrets. Push your comfort zone and try new things. You’ll find that you’ll start to look forward to what comes next.

Stay curious. Try new things.

18. Research
As we all know in today’s world research and development have high importance.

The research process involves identifying, locating, assessing, and analyzing the information you need to support your research question, and then developing and expressing your ideas. These are the same skills you need any time you write a report, proposal, or put together a presentation.

So, try with small questions that you have and  make a report. It will help you to gain knowledge.
19. Dance
Dancing provides many great benefits and, while it's not possible to list them all, some of the greater benefits are listed below:
1.   Dancing allows one to express oneself.
2.   A sense of community is found within the dance.
3.   Dancing provides physical/mental refreshment and relaxation.
4.   Laughter and fun—dancing can provide a lot of entertainment.
5.   Dancing is a form of exercise.
6.   Dancers find inspiration and motivation as they become lost in the dance.
7.   Dancing allows professional dancers to form affiliations.
So, Why waiting begin your dance…..LoL However, we have more youtube

channels to learn dance even if you are a beginner.
20. Chess

One of my favorite game is chess. I use to play every time. It’s a great fun to me. Rather than playing chess in online play with your friends give you more happiness. We have more online tutorials for learning chess g and check for if don’t know basics.

Mastering the techniques of a champion may take you the rest of your life, but learning the basics of strategy — observation, planning, judging the quality of an opponent’s skill — can be picked up relatively swiftly.
Moreover, these are skills that you can apply to every life situation, and which will stand you in good stead in the realm of interpersonal interaction. Chess sets can be procured for relatively small sums. Technique guides are available in both print and online for free.
21. Gardening

Getting your hands dirty in the garden can increase your serotonin levels – contact with soil and a specific soil bacteria, Mycobacterium vaccae, triggers the release of serotonin in our brain according to research.
Serotonin is a happy chemical, a natural anti-depressant and strengthens the immune system. This is why I’m adding gardening to do in your free time activity.
